NFC is offering a unique seminar with Andy Murray in 2011.

NFC are very happy to offer a special highlight for 2011. There is a very limited number of rods available in weeks 23 (5th -12th June) and 24 (12th – 19th June) for those, who want to use the unique opportunity to join our seminar “Spring fly fishing for large Atlantic salmon” with the famous fly fishing instructor Andy Murray, who will be assisted by Chris Henshaw, a most experienced salmon angler with more than 20 years experience on our beats. These fly fishing courses are interesting for both, beginners and advanced fly fishers alike and offer the chance for the salmon of a life time.

Right now Gaula is hidden away in snow and freezing temperatures (2 x pic's underneath).
But for everybody who has been there, it is still a salmon dream of huge fish, beautiful surroundings - but most of all a great atmosphere.

PS. In the next edition of pool 32 Mag, you will find a photo essay from my trip to Gaula and the NFC. An absolutely superb trip by the way, a trip I'll never forget.

  1. Wish I were going! Took a Spey casting course from Andy in Canada in 2002. His instruction was more pertinant to Atlantic salmon angling than the three other 'Expert' instructors. His wind casting style will help any fisher who takes the course. Heck of a nice guy to boot! Besides, who wouldn't want to fish the Gaula !!!! Rob Solo, Newfoundland, Canada
